Dear Foodies,my didi’s friend Arati Karandikar-Agnihotri (Irving) introduced me to the Paula Deen’s Pastry Wheel that could be used as काताणे to get the “zig-zag” pattern on the semi-circular sweet fritters that were made by our Guest Blogger of the Day,Sheetal (LA).I searched for it at all Indian stores in Sunnyvale, but in vain.Guess what? Arati told me I would get one at Wal-Mart in the home gadgets section.
The product comes from Paula Deen, an accomplished cook book authoress.I have read good reviews of her books too and would love to have a copy of her book soon (may be for my next venture, who knows)!!
Thanks Arati, you de-bugged my issues in just 4 and odd dollars! An extremely handy & economical stuff! So,galz…how about gifting this to our MIL’s or Moms on our next visit to India?
I m getting 2 more for sure!
Btw,if like Arati you guys wish to share any product/restaurant/food/beverage info or queries, this is your space.Feel free to share your opinions. They are extremely valuable!
